Style Love - Liberty Bugaboo

To celebrate the launch of Little Liberty, the iconic British store has teamed up with stylish buggy company, Bugaboo.  Together they have created an exclusive, limited edition Liberty print Bugaboo Cameleon stroller.  Only ten of these have been made and are available to buy at Little Liberty.  The Liberty print 'TV Ted' used on the Cameleon stroller is taken from an undated sample in The Liberty Archive and has been reworked for Spring/Summer 2012.

I will never be needing a buggy again, but if I did I know I would love a Liberty print Bugaboo! What do you think? Do you love this collaboration?

Have a lovely afternoon,

Little Liberty

Morning, I hope it is a bit brighter where you are today.  Yesterday was so miserable which jsut seemed disappointing after all of the beautiful sunshine we had seen recently.  Nevermind, the Spring will be here properly very soon.  Last Thursday saw the launch of Little Liberty, with the third floor of the London store being dedicated to the whimsical and exciting world of childrenswear, toys, accessories, gifts and books.

Taking on a crafty, organic and quirky look, Little Liberty appeals to children and I'm sure our inner child too.  The entire floor has been decorated with storybook style illustrations, including a mural that spreads onto many walls and even drawers.  The carefully chosen palette of aqua and coral add the touch of tradition or blue for boys and pink for girls, but the choice of softer shades of these traditional colours adds to the fun and Spring like space.  The wooden floors have been dotted with striped rugs, colourful stools and oversized animals, handmade in felt.

As if the decor wasn't enticing enough Little Liberty has an interactive area where children are allowed to play with toys that are also available to buy.  The boys department sports a specially commissioned Meccano chandelier and not to be outdone, the girls department has an interesting wooden clothes peg sculpture with wooden shapes and birdhouses that have lightbulbs connected.

The childrenswear sees stalwart Liberty brands, including Stella McCartney, Paul smith, Chloe and Isabel Marant. However Little Liberty will also play host to debut collections from Folk and Oliver Spencer aswell as Dr. Marten's creating a special children's boot as part of a SS12 print collaboration.

Little Liberty also has a careful edit of books, wall stickers, height charts, White Rabbit England lamps and Anne-Claire Petit's collection of homewares, including crocheted toadstools.

Have you visited Little Liberty yet? It's on my list next time I'm in London.
Have a fab day
