Family Holidays - Deepdale Farm

Morning, I hope you are all well and looking forward to a relaxing Easter weekend.  As it's Friday it's time to share another idea for a family holiday and this week I've been looking at yurt and tipi holidays in East Anglia, with plans for a short break later in the summer.  Whilst I like the idea of camping I do like a little bit of luxury when I go on holiday so I think glamping is the ideal camping holiday for me!  This is still a  relatively new idea but there are more and more options becoming available to indulge in glamping with yurts probably being my favourite choice of canvas.  Deepdale Farm in Norfolk offers both options of tipi's and yurts to indulge your glamping needs.

Tipi's at Deepdale Farm offer more basic accomadation, with faux fur covered sleeping mats, a chiminea to heat your Tipi and a barbeque convieniently located outside of your tent.  However you will not have to struggle with poles and guy ropes as the Tipi's are already pitched, ready for you to arrive.

Authentic Mongolian Yurts at Deepdale Farm look to offer a wonderful glamping holiday.  With two double futons complete with matresses and two further matresses you are assured a restful nights sleep after enjoying the beautiful North Norfolk coastline.  Incase you were worrying about chilly evenings under canvas there is a wood burning stove in your Yurt aswell a selection of throws to pop on top of the sleeping bags you brought with you.  After a busy day on the beautiful beaches in North Norfolk you can return to you pitch and cook dinner on the barbeque or maybe you prefer to barbeque your sausages for breakfast!

With beaches on the North Norfolk coast to rival Cornwall, Deepdale Farm is perfectly placed for enjoying walks or days on the sand or even for a spot of surfing.  Maybe you will be lucky enough to spot a seal or two aswell, with the Seal Sanctuary at Blakeney Point further round the coast.

Room To Bloom - Interiors for Children

Morning! Have you got snow? We haven't thankfully and I know we're all glad to see some rain here in Suffolk. I'm hoping for some drier weather for the weekend so we can carry on with the gardening.  I am sure there will be several of us getting stuck into some diy tasks this weekend, well it is a bank holiday! Perhaps you prefer to enjoy your weekends and leave the decorating to the experts.  Today I am thrilled to introduce you to a wonderful company that specialises in creating beautiful chidlren's interiors.  Room to Bloom offers a range of interior design services specifically for children's spaces.

Whether you are planning a fully managed makeover or would just like help in planning changes for your childs room, Ursula of Room to Bloom is more than able to help bring your ideas to life.  Hunting down stylish decor for chidlren's rooms is Ursula's passion, whether for clients or to share on her blog.  Understanding that budgets vary as do peoples interior design skills, Ursula offers three different options at Room to Bloom.  'Distance Design' is an affordable and fun way to get designer help in planning your childs room. This type of service is already proving popular in the US and I am sure will be as popular here by the end of the year.  This service allows you to implement the ideas rather than having the full design and installation fees.  I personally love this idea of having the specialist help but getting to do the shopping and creating the space myself.

Another service available at Room to Bloom is 'Onsite Design' which allows for various options to assist you in the design process.  Perhaps you would just like an initial consultation to help you workout what it is you want to achieve or maybe you would like Ursula to help create a space from initial ideas through to installation.  Room to Bloom also offer a design clinic to help you track down something particular. 

For budding interior designers Room to Bloom host 'Nursery Interior Design Workshops'.  Ursula will take you through step by step planning and decorating a beautiful space for your new arrival.  Creating a mood board, a floor plan and sourcing list amongst other things, at £125 I believe this would be money very well spent.  Creating a nursery can seem like a daunting task, especially when there seems to be lists of products you absolutely must have aswell as safety implications to be considered.  I assure you that you do not need everything on some of these lists published in parenting magazines, perhaps that can be another post!

Good morning, I hope you are all enjoying the Easter hols, especially if you are lucky enough to not be working.  I seem to have become a little obsessed by bunnies this week and today am thrilled to share some more with you.  Whilst on the Branding Masterclass I got to know one of the very lovely owners of Cottontails.  Charlotte and her mother, Mary, also have a love for all things bunny, which is evident in the products they stock on their website.

Easter Bunny Finger Puppets

Morning! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend whatever you did.  Mine was fairly quiet as we eased into the Easter hols and Kitty has had a horrid cough which is keeping her awake at night.  So now the crazy working hours begin as the holidays get properly under way but at least we all know we're not alone! As Easter draws ever closer I thought this week I would share some great tutorials and inspiration from this holiday that  I have found in my regular tours of the internet.  So to get us started I want to share this adorable tutorial from Purl Bee with you to make Bunny Finger Puppets, that I think could easily double as egg cosies!
