Family Holidays - Deepdale Farm

Morning, I hope you are all well and looking forward to a relaxing Easter weekend.  As it's Friday it's time to share another idea for a family holiday and this week I've been looking at yurt and tipi holidays in East Anglia, with plans for a short break later in the summer.  Whilst I like the idea of camping I do like a little bit of luxury when I go on holiday so I think glamping is the ideal camping holiday for me!  This is still a  relatively new idea but there are more and more options becoming available to indulge in glamping with yurts probably being my favourite choice of canvas.  Deepdale Farm in Norfolk offers both options of tipi's and yurts to indulge your glamping needs.

Tipi at Deepdale Farm at sunset.

Tipi's at Deepdale Farm offer more basic accomadation, with faux fur covered sleeping mats, a chiminea to heat your Tipi and a barbeque convieniently located outside of your tent.  However you will not have to struggle with poles and guy ropes as the Tipi's are already pitched, ready for you to arrive.

Yurt at Deepdale Farm on the North Norfolk coast.

Authentic Mongolian Yurts at Deepdale Farm look to offer a wonderful glamping holiday.  With two double futons complete with matresses and two further matresses you are assured a restful nights sleep after enjoying the beautiful North Norfolk coastline.  Incase you were worrying about chilly evenings under canvas there is a wood burning stove in your Yurt aswell a selection of throws to pop on top of the sleeping bags you brought with you.  After a busy day on the beautiful beaches in North Norfolk you can return to you pitch and cook dinner on the barbeque or maybe you prefer to barbeque your sausages for breakfast!

Holkham Beach

With beaches on the North Norfolk coast to rival Cornwall, Deepdale Farm is perfectly placed for enjoying walks or days on the sand or even for a spot of surfing.  Maybe you will be lucky enough to spot a seal or two aswell, with the Seal Sanctuary at Blakeney Point further round the coast.

Deepdale Farm is an eco friendly campsite, with a Gold Award from Green Tourism Business Scheme and a Gold Award from the David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme.  With lots of schemes and policies in place to ensure your holiday does not impact on the environment, you can find out more on their website here.   Deepdale Farm offer weekend and mid week short breaks in their Tipi's and Yurts that sleep up to 8 people, at very affordable rates, even in peak summer holiday season.  So what's stopping you, I assure you that you will fall in love with the North Norfolk coastline and am sure Deepdale Farm is a great base for a family break.

Enjoy your day, we're planning which movie to watch ready for tomorrows Saturday Matinee post.

PS This is not a sponsored post, just another fab idea for a family holiday.

This is a great idea for a summer trip. The yurts look really good; we've been looking for a 'comfortable' introduction to camping for a while and this fits the bill brilliantly. Thanks for sharing it!
