Family Holidays - Beside The Sea Holidays

Hello, it's Friday already and almost the end of the school holidays. Phew I hear so many of you cry! Juggling school holidays and work is not alot of fun but I hope you have all made time for some fun aswell.  Perhaps you managed to escape for a little while and recharge those batteries and enjoy some family time.  As it is Friday it is of course time for another idea for a family holiday here on Zoe & Drew and this week I am taking you to Camber Sands in East Sussex.  So pack you bucket and spade and let's see what Beside the Sea Holidays  have to offer on the South Coast of England.

Sand Dunes at Camber Sands

Beside The Sea Holidays have a selection of stylish 2 and 3 bedroomed cottages in East Sussex, all within a stones throw of the beautiful beaches in Camber Sands.  Personally I think it sounds fabulous and I am not sure I would want to leave being so close to the beach!  With light and bright interiors complete with flatscreen tvs, a selection of DVD's and board games, fluffy towels and Molton Brown soaps you maybe mistaken that you are staying in a luxury hotel.  However all the cottages have kitchens complete with a variety of utensils, cookware and crockery to ensure your home from home allows you to cook delicious family meals.  Yet if the weather is good I am sure you will want to take full advantage of the BBQ in your own private garden.  Now that's something you wouldn't get in a hotel!

Camber Sands is the perfect place for a family beach holiday here in the UK with seven miles of Blue Flag award winning beach.  The sand dunes offer ample space for running around for the children and make a lovely space for a run or walk for us grown ups too.  Also with that length of beach I can only imagine the sandcastle cities that could be built.  If you can drag yourself away from the sand or the weather isn't being quite so friendly perhaps a trip five miles up the road to Rye or visit the wonderful gardens at a local histroical house, perhaps Sheffield Park or Pashley Manor. There are also castles to explore or perhaps you could visit Canterbury Cathedral in neighbouring county, Kent.

I hope to visit Camber Sands very soon, just to spend time on that amazing beach, run in the sand dunes and of course I will be popping up the road to Hastings as I understand there are some amazing shops full of beautiful things from designer makers.  Have you stayed in Camber Sands before? Please share your top tips for places to visit, things to do in the comments below.

Hi Gabs, All of their properties looks so stylish and perfect for a holiday treat :) I'm sure you'll be spoilt for choice! I much prefer a cottage as you can cook and eat when you want to.
