Children's Rooms - Adding Colour

Morning, I hope you are all well and that the return to school has gone smoothly.  I have left Drew in charge this morning as I am heading to London for a Bloggers Event at Warner Bros, I am sure he will make sure everyone remembers their lunchboxes and PE bags!  For todays Children's Rooms post I have been thinking about adding colour using accessories and thought I would see what the High Street has to offer, starting with Next.

Children's rooms never seem to be short of colour, but it is very easy to get carried away and add too  many colours.  Before long it looks more like a paint pot explosion and busy decor does not make for a restful nights sleep. As with decorating any room it is important to have an idea for a theme or a colour palette before rushing out and buying paint, wallpaper and soft furnishings.  One option is to stick to fairly plain bedding and curtains, then have accessories as objects of interest that add pattern and colour to the room.

As you can see fun and colourful accesories can brighten up any childs bedroom, whether it is a string of bunting, a wall sticker or some smart storage.

Enjoy your day and don't worry it will soon be hometime and the house will be full of noisy, hungry children again :)
