Family Fun - Household Cavalry Museum

Morning! I hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday weekend.  The sun has made an appearance this morning which is very welcome after a soggy Sunday.  To continue the London theme I thought I would share some places to visit in the capital.  The Household Cavalry Museum is a living museum in the heart of House Guards, Whitehall and the mounted guards are a very important part of the Jubilee Celebrations as well as the Olympics this summer.

The Household Cavalry Museum has a special display of medals, memorabilia and photographs depicting the Household Cavalry's involvement and achievements in the Olympics since 1908.

Throughout half term week in June The Household Cavalry Museum have a fab programme of family fun to help celebrate The Queens Diamons Jubilee.  This includes a 'Cavalry and Crown' museum trail, Drawing and Colouring Competition aswell as three days (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) of Jubilee Craft Workshops where children can enjoy making crowns, flags and more.  Find out more on the museum website here.

For details of opening times and further information please visit the museums website www.householdcavalrymuseum.co.uk

Have a lovely day,
Zoe
